This week’s comics could be call “Wesley Travels Around”.
Look, I know I have to grow up and eat the grown up cereal and drink the grown up drinks, and worry about taxes and vacation homes, but I really don’t want to.
In other news, I did a doodle of Mike Rugnetta of the PBS Idea Channel and then I tweeted that doodle, and guess what?
IT’S THE FRICKIN’ TWEET OF THE WEEK! How awesome is that? Here’s a link for all of y’all to check out. It’s a real honor, I just wish it had been a better doodle :D
Here’s the video where he mentions it. It’s happens at right around the 11 minute mark. Pretty cool.
Thanks everybody and I’ll see ya next week.
Thanks to this comic, I am now aware of a serious lack of Luchadore-themed breakfast cereals.
This is the real reason I made this comic, to bring about awareness of this issue. Can you kickstart a cereal? I’m willing to try.
My mom still sort of half grumbles at me when she comes to my house and sees Cocoa Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch in my pantry. I’m not giving them up. Ever. :)
I think this is why people have children. So they can watch cartoons and eat the fun cereal…or maybe that’s just me :D
I can see the commercial for Lucha Crunch now. He battles for his people in the ring against the evils of El Cereal Bland! The commercial always culminates with his patented move the savory Dulce Descenso del Codo (Sweet Elbow Drop)! After that El Cereal Bland bursts into a thousand sugary pieces, filling the bowls of the children looking on.
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! Pure commercial poetry!
